South Winter Garden Neighborhood Guide

SCOPE | MINT AFFORDABILITY

Previously rows on rows of citrus groves, the south side of Winter Garden has become a crux of

activity with the introduction of new neighborhoods, schools, parks, and the Winter Garden Village

outdoor shopping over the last twenty years. With Downtown Orlando just 14 miles westward via the

East-West Expressway, the charm of Windermere on its south border and its historic downtown

directly north, this pocket of Winter Garden provides a lot of freedom to venture across town.

FEEL | CASUAL COMMUTER

A day in the life could look like. . .

Spend an early morning at the breakfast table with coffee. Fit in an hour at LA Fitness or the West Orange YMCA. Coast down 50 or the 408 towards work. Enjoy the day, embrace the hustle. Make it home before 5 o’clock with time to spare. Pick up dinner at Winter Garden village to enjoy with the family. Spend the evening in the historic side of town with friends at the Crooked Can Brewery patio.

ARCHITECTURE | CONTEMPORARY

With networks of developments intentionally woven together for easy connectivity, these typically include cozy to grand contemporary style homes with moderate-sized lots, neighborhood fitness centers, parks, and pools. Several of these developments include or exclusively feature apartments and/or townhomes for those looking to be yard work free.

MARKET | TBD

WHAT TO EXPECT | OUTINGS AND MORE OUTINGS

With so many options for quick shopping and grabbing a bite, it will be hard to resist regular spur of the moment adventures (might as well build it into your budget now.)

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE | BEGINNINGS

The residential growth and affordability alongside the variety of shopping and restaurant options tend to attract young professionals and growing families.

PRACTICALLY SPEAKING | KINSHIP WITH YOUR SMARTPHONE

Although there are plenty of sidewalks and several parks, this is not the predominantly pedestrian side of Winter Garden. Expect regular (although short) drive times in your car—providing you daily opportunity to marvel at the genius of your Spotify playlists.
